Founded as Rolando Mobile Repairs in 1974, a Mom and Pop for general auto repairs, our business has and continues to advance tremendously. Renamed Rainbow Transmission in 1984, the family business now houses fifteen employees and our own parts department to support our shop’s demands. Expanding from our days of general motor work, the business now specializes in general repairs and maintenance of Cabover Trucks, such as Isuzus, Mitsubishi, Nissan UD and Hinos, as well as Allison Transmissions. Within the last six years, the business has also developed a conversion for the 4×4 Cabover Trucks. These Converted Cabovers can be utilized in a variety of ways, such as camping trucks, snow plows, service trucks and farming applications.

Rainbow Transmission strives to always provide knowledgeable and accurate services, meet the customer’s needs and keep up with the technical advancements of the most modern trucks. The business prides itself on constantly keeping up to date with the latest developments in mechanics, attending influential expos and conventions nationwide, adjusting their services accordingly. Rainbow Transmission also looks forward to becoming a presence in other states, as well as other countries. Our Converted Cabovers have found homes in a variety of countries, such as Costa Rica and Nicaragua, and we are excited to expand on this prospect. As a business, technology is something we are passionate about, and are constantly developing, as our online presence continues to grow.
